Lunch @ Bugis Junction: New Restaurant Nando's

28-05-2010 - Daddy and mommy brought Kellen boy boy out for lunch at Bugis Junction. We went to try out the new restaurant Nando's.They are specializes in chicken dishes with either lemon and herb, medium, hot or extra hot peri-peri marinades.

This was what daddy and mommy ordered. The 1/2 chicken served with coleslaw and chips. The chicken was heavily marinated with lots of spices and herbs, lemon and tasted a bit hot.

This was what Kellen had. Daddy and mommy ordered the "The Little Grow Up" for Kellen. As what the photo had shown, it contained tender chicken strips with a wonderful sweet and sour sauce, potatoes wedges fried to perfection, a bowl of mixes fruits and one cup of orange juice. Nice......

Of course, the meal do come with a soup of the day with garlic breads. Need to mention that the soup is different from those we used to have in other restaurant. The cream chicken soup taste slightly spicy and once you start it, you just can't seem to stop. The breads are not the usual garlic toasted bread that always hard and crispy. These are crispy at the outside but soft and fluffy inside. It also smell delicious. You can see in the above photo, the breads were almost gone before mommy remember to take the photo.... We were SO HUNGRY.
Things to highlight, the restaurant was really packed with people.....so if you like to try out the chicken do go early.

These photos were taken before the foods were served. Mommy and Kellen patiently waiting for the food to come.

Kellen sitting in his baby chair waiting for the food to be serve.

He realised that mommy was taking his photo.

He was extremely happy.
