大年初一 - CNY Day 1!!!!!

26/01/2009 - Haha.....the day has arrived. This is my FIRST CNY........As expected we have to go grandparents' house to 拜年. Grandma has prepared the 发财鱼 & 年糕 as breakfast. We spent the whole day house-visiting the close relatives....it is so tired but it is REALLY fun. At each individual home, i even do some CNY 'singing' but i believe none of them know what i am 'singing'. Today's takings - 8 big 红包s for the whole day event.......Heeeheee. We also turn one of the relative's house into a photo studio and did a family photoshoot!!!Poor Daddy...had to wake up early today and still do all the driving around.....from bras basah to bukit panjang to lengkok bahru then back home.......i cant wait for tomorrow to arrive....New clothes to wear again and new faces to meet and MOST importantly....COLLECT more 红包s...haha.....

团圆饭 @ Hung Kang Teochew Restaurant!!!!

25/01/2009 - Finally our 团圆饭 at the famous Hung Kang Teochew restaurant!!!! Heard from Daddy that the reservation was made 1 year ago by grandpa.....thats was when i am still in Mummy tummy.......Dinner start at 7pm and we have only one and a half hour to finish it....the 7pm slot is the 2nd time slot....the 1st being at 5pm.....the moment we reached @ the entrance at 6 plus, it was already filled with families awaiting for their seats for the 7pm slot.....Joining us today is my GREAT-grandma....& also grandparents of cousin Anson.....Daddy took some pictures of the dishes they had.....and dam it they do look delicious!!!!!After dinner.....grandpa gave me the "压岁钱" which Daddy & Mummy gave me yeaterday.....the ang pow grandpa gave sure look thick and big.....heehee....Awaiting tomorrow for the BIG day to come and meet alot of relatives & friends.... Will try to update my blog everyday unless i am too tired after the "拜年"!!!

Early CNY Reunion dinner @ Zhou's Kitchen

19/01/2009 - My very FIRST Chinese New Year Reunion dinner with Daddy & Mummy, Anut Faye & Uncle Robin and grandparents!!! Daddy & Mummy w Aunt Faye & Uncle Robin decided to hold the reunion dinner @ Zhou's Kitchen at Anchor point. For the 1st time i saw how the adults do the 'lao yu sheng'....the 1st time i see the 'pen cai'.....too bad...i am still young so i can only see but cannot touch...errr i mean eat...the 1st time i see a golden ang pow and i always thought ang pow should be in red color...SOOOO many 1st times...awaiting the coming CNY reunion with my paternal grandparents this coming SUnday.....

Cousin Anson's 1st year birthday celebration

17/01/2009 - Today is a BIG day for cousin Anson. He is celebrating his 1st year brithday. I am soooo ready to doll up and make sure i am presentable in this occasion. Decided to wear my new cool beanie and the new shirt daddy & mummy brought for me........The shirt & beanie matched each other PERFECTLY!!!!!!Coolzzzz!!!!!! Too bad, by the time it is cake cutting....i fell asleep in my Daddy's arm...ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

17/01/2009 - Today Daddy & Mummy playing 'peek-a-poo' bolster with baby kellen.....he is laughing so loud that grandma can hear him from the next room........Such a simple game but able to bring so much joy to everyone in the house.......

10/01/2009 - FINALLY....my NEW beanie has arrived!!!!! Which one should i wear first????? Decided on the blue with me K. T. initials on it........Look cool man......Don't envy me......I am already handsome...with the beanie....IS HANDSOME + COOL!!!!
