Auntie Faye and uncle Robin's Wedding

16/05/09- Today is auntie Faye and uncle Robin's wedding....I have a lot of fun the whole day. Daddy and mommy dress me so smart for their wedding dinner.

大年初十五 - LAST DAY OF CNY - Day 15

09/02/2009 - Today is the last day of the CNY.....so happen to falls on a Monday when all adults are working, we had a simple dinner at grandparent's place followed by the 'yu sheng'. To mark this occassion, Daddy went to purchase the teochew 'yu sheng' from the Hung Kang restaurant where we had our Reunion dinner. Too bad cousin Anson and family are not joining us. We had the 'lao yu sheng' first then dinner. I too took part in the 'lao yu sheng' as showed in the attached pictures. I just held tight to my chopsticks while grandma did the action......FUNZ!!!!!!Got to wait for another year for this special occassion......By next year, cousin Anson and i will be running around , chase by Daddy & Mummy & Grandparents......it will be a lot fun next year......hahaha

07/02/2009 - We had dinner gathering at Aunt Faye's place. Aunt even brought out her RED BIG teddy bear to entertain me........At at the pictures....the teddy bear is even bigger than ME!!

04/01/2009 - Hahahaha....i finally know how to turn over from my back to my tummy......it feels so GREAT!!!!!!I am going to do more of this......believe the adults are going to get worry of me real bad........anyway i am still going to enjoy myself by doing more of this new 'trick'....hahaha....cant wait to do my first crawl and also my first step..........enjoy the video clip of me performing.....heeheehee

大年初七 - CNY Day 7 & 人日!!!!!

01/02/2009 - Today is the seventh day of CNY and also the 人日 which means the birthday of the human being. The main dish that everyone must have is the 七种菜. This dish is make up of 7 different kinds of vegetables cooked together. Daddy & Mummy had beakfast at 优大虾排骨面 It is located at Henderson road. I cant wait for my turn to taste it....it look so yummy.I cant take my eyes off the prawn noodle bowls.After breakfast, we headed to Mummy's cousin place at hougang for family gathering. Relatives from malaysia came over too for this special 人日. They had prepared alot of dishes inclusive of the must have 七种菜 and also their famous self make yusheng. The yusheng is make up from different types of shredded fruits instead of vegetables.Aunt Faye & Uncle Robin even bought slices of salmon sashimi from ichiban boshi for the yusheng. Mummy also took alot of phtotos of me & the other cousins at the place. Daddy also had a game of 麻將. He even managed to win a bottle of 奶粉钱. After the gathering, we headed to Daddy's friend, Uncle John's place to 拜年 and also to meet baby Jayden who is 1 year old.By the time we reached Uncle John house, Jayden is already asleep. i only get to play with Uncle John. We were there for half an hour before we headed to Grandparent's house for dinner. Grandma also prepared the七种菜 dish & alot other yummy dishes. After dinner, we headed home for sleeping time. Today will also be th last day of holiday for Daddy & Mummy. They will be going back to work tomorrow. I cant go out as often as the past 1 week anymore....got to wait for th weekend.......sad.....how i enjoy the past 1 week.....so much happiness and so many people i met and also so many places i visited the 1st time.

大年初六 - CNY Day 6!!!!!

31/01/2009 - Today will not feature any pictures as the digital camera has run out of battery and is currently in the process of charging. Continue from yesterday's camping at grandparent's house, i got to sleep with grandma & grandpa in their bed in between both of them. I tried not to disturb them too much so i soundly sleep through the night. At 6am, i woke up with grandpa & grandma also awake. They are preparing to bring me along to the wet market and also to meet their kopi kakis. We went to wet markets at telok blangah heights and tiong bahru to source for 发财鱼. We then have kopi session back at telok blangah heights.....haha...in the process i managed to collect 4 red packets.....not too bad takings for just a 2 hour morning session....After such we went back home to grandparent's house to wait for Daddy's colleague to come over to 拜年. Daddy's colleague brought his son over who is just 1 month younger than me.....his name is Lucas. Lucas seemed much taller than me.....we had some baby chat and after such we just do our own stuffs.....after Daddy's colleague left, we head to bedok to 拜年 at Great grandma's cousin place. Cousin Anson also join in. We then head back to our own place as Godpa is coming over with a few of Daddy's ex colleague. As i was really exhuasted after the whole tiring day, i fell asleep before Godpa arrive. The moment i woke up in the middle of the night, i only saw the big red packet Godpa left for me......Thank you Godpa Adrian quek......play with you next time..

大年初五 - CNY Day 5!!!!!

30/01/2009 - Finally i get to have my swimming session today. After 2 weeks of break, i do admit that i have a bit of fear after i entered the water....holding tight to Mummy hand...but after a while of 'warming-up', i can swim on my own and ready to release Mummy's hand. I swim a full 20 minutes and was really exhuasted after which. All of you can see how happy i am from the pictures and videos i had attached.After the swim, we headed to pick up grandparents. As Mummy again had to go back to office to settle some work issues, Daddy decided that we wait for Mummy at Paragon while she settle her stuffs. While waiting, Daddy brought us to 鼎泰丰 to have lunch.After lunch, Mummy is amost done and we headed back to grandparent's house. Daddy & Mummy decided the 3 of us 'camp' at grandparent's place tonight....

大年初四 - CNY Day 4 & 五个月大 liao!!!!

29/01/2009 - Helo everyone, i am officially 5 months old liao....another 7 more months before i can put delicious stuffs in my mouth.....Today grandma and grandpa bring us to 天福宫 to 拜拜. Grandma said today is the day all the gods will travel down to earth so it is the best time to go 拜拜. We head to Amoy st where the temple is located in the morning. We did the 拜拜 'chop chop' and go around the temple to sight-seeing. Grandpa showed us a lantern put up on the temple ceiling that he paid for it a year ago to bless the whole Tay's family. The lantern has a red card bearing the surname's TAY. After the temple, we head to Hong Lim Food Centre to have pork noodle prior to Grandpa's recommendation....Grandpa love this pork noodle. Daddy has a taste of it. Although Daddy felt it is good but he has better recommendation. Daddy will bring the rest of the family to try it once the stall is reopen from the CNY. I will update in the blog once we visit there.....After the noodle, Mummy had to go back to office to settle some work issues and we mainly spent the whole day at Grandma's place. Although i am supposed to go Mummy's work place to 拜年 but due to me sound asleep, Mummy decided otherwise.

大年初三 - CNY Day 3!!!!

28/01/2009 - Today is supposed to have a swimming session but unfortunately, the shop is still closed for CNY. The whole family than have breakfast at the Breeks cafe. As usual, Daddy recommended the BIG BREEKS breakfast set meal to Uncle Andy & Grandpa....Mummy had the SMOKED Salmon set while grandma had the Pancake set whereas for Great-grandma, she had bits of everthing from all of us........after breakfast, Aunt Evelyn went to starhub to get her new Hp...its the new HTC 3G...coolz....but i think Daddy & Mummy prefer the HTC HD instead....haha...wish they stuck big big in 4D & Toto....at least can have a new Hp to photoshoot & video me.......After which we made an adhoc visit to grandma's cousin place @ Cashew Rd to 拜年.The place is BIG.....The great auntie kept on carrying me around and hugging me so no choice i got to 'entertain' her by making funny faces......Daddy and grandpa then came up the ideal to lunch at the UNION "Chee Pow Kai" restaurant which is located jus beside Ngee Ann Poly....as mentioned of the restauant name, the famous dish is the 纸包鸡.The adults ordered 30 pcs of them and swallowed them down.....seem DELICIOUS!!!!! After lunch, we headed to Loyang 大伯公 to 拜拜. It was sooooo crowdy with people....人山人海....we decided to just do some simple 拜拜 and quickly leave the place. We then headed to godma place at sengkang.....they were doing the gambling den.....and the moment we reach them, the adults there were just focused on the cards.......we left soon after.... Today's takings is just as bad as yesterday...only 2.....no choice lor....sill have 12 days to go before the CNY end....tomorrow plan is to go Mummy's workplace to 拜年...hope i can have better takings tomorrow.....HOPE!!!!!
